BARRIER MOTOR FUELS, INC
Capital Investment

Barrier Motor Fuels, Inc. will invest capital in the form of Tank and Piping Systems,  Dispensers and Consoles, Canopy and Fire Suppression Systems, in return for an agreement to supply, lease or purchase property.

Barrier will evaluate your gasoline facility's potential. Our site evaluation will include traffic count, cross street, population density, commercial business and competition. Barrier will make a Capital Investment Offering based on the results of our studies. Units with high volume potential will tend to have the highest capital investment. If your site has the potential of selling 100,000 gallons per month or more, Barrier will offer total equipment supply. In lower volume units, Barrier may offer a combination of equipment. In the lowest volume stations, Barrier may offer capital in the form of dispensers or canopy. Lower volume units can increase the amount of capital Barrier can make available by other instruments.

Barrier's site evaluation is FREE. Barrier services the tri-state area.

Tank and Piping Systems
Barrier removes and installs tanks. Barrier has built and rebuilt over 100 stations for ourselves and for our motor fuel customers. Barrier does not build outside its own motor fuel customer base.

Over the last twenty years, Barrier has developed the talent to install and maintain viable systems. We take pride in our ability to install STI-p3 dual-wall steel or dual-wall fiberglass tanks. Above or below ground, we've done many installations, yet we treat each job as if it were the only one.

Barrier is proficient in the use of fiberglass pipe as well as the new plastic piping. In order to prevent future contamination, containment sumps are placed under the dispensers, as well as the submersible pumps. Dispensers and pumps are then connected with dual-wall piping.

Barrier removes petroleum-contaminated soil and water. We do all the excavation work, back-fill and cement work in-house.

Upon completion of any tank or piping upgrade, Barrier will provide the required reports and documents to the responsible Environmental Agency. During upgrades, Barrier will provide FREE environmental consultation. Barrier employs construction personnel, as well as service technicians and an environmental engineer.

Dispensers and Consoles
Barrier currently recommends Gilbarco Blending Dispensers. They are readily available with credit card readers and/or vapor-vacuum hoses. Barrier's trained electronics technicians prefer the easy-to-repair equipment and readily available parts. Also, Gilbarco factory support is excellent. These units can be run on TCRG, G-Sites or Ruby Consoles.

Mini canopy lighting systems are available which can house internal fire suppression systems.

The blending dispensers mix the high and low feed stocks to provide from three to five products. The middle grades can be given any blend ratio to achieve any octane offering.

Citgo three-product pricing will allow an 87, 89 and 93 octane offering. The middle grade blending will not only eliminate the cost of a third tank and piping system, it also will save 1/2 cent on every gallon blended.
Citgo five-product pricing will allow an 87, 89, 91, 92 and 93 Octane offering. The higher octanes offer the opportunity for an increased margin while offering the consumer a greater ability to meet his car performance needs.

Canopy and Fire Suppression
Barrier uses outside contractors to install its quality canopies. Canopies can be installed brand-specific with custom facia to meet both supplier and local approval agency needs. With steel I-beam structure and aluminum facia and soffit, all canopies will meet underwriter, state and local requirements.

Barrier is licensed to install PemAll fire suppression systems. These can be adapted to canopies, mini-lighted canopies or directly over the dispensing system. A secondary emergency switch is installed in the office.

Barrier services the canopy, fire suppression and lighting at no cost throughout the term of the supply agreement.
